The trend in website design and usability these days is toward simplicity and ease of use. Long gone are the days of websites crammed with so much information that you don’t even know where to begin. Sites such as Twitter, Google, My Porn Profile (has to throw that in) and Formspring.me are examples. Why do you think people love Twitter so much? Twitter is an extremely easy way to connect with others and couldn’t be any simpler to learn and use. People don’t have time to learn how to use websites. In our fast paced society people want to do things and they want to do them fast!

Enter formspring.com. Formspring.com is a way to “Send and receive anonymous questions, and learn more about people you find interesting by following their answers”. That’s the simple definition that formspring.me has on their site and it pretty much explains it all. The site is extremely easy to use. After answering a few quick sign-up questions you’re ready to go. Formspring.me allows you to search for other users so you can ask questions and even follow that user. If you don’t want to sign-up for an account and just ask a question you can do this also. Simply find the person and ask away!

Formspring.me allows you to connect to popular sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr so you can easily publish your answers and share them with others. You can also do a little modifying of your page by uploading an avatar or changing the background image. There are some pre-made backgrounds or you can create your own by uploading a picture.

That’s about it in a nutshell. Formspring.me does a great job of not making things complicated. If you want to interact with your fans this is a fun way to do it.
