First Came Avatar and then 3D Porn
I saw the new smash hit movie Avatar over the weekend in 3D. For those of you who have seen it already you’ll probably agree the movie was awesome and the 3D experience made it even better.
Of course in my dirty little mind the first thing I thought of was, “wow, how cool would it be to see porn in 3D”. My mind started to race about the endless possibilities. Just think, cum shots in the 3D, tits in 3D, penises in 3D, golden showers in 3D, the list goes on and on. Porn in 3D would take everything to the next level. When I got home I started doing a little research to see what was coming down the pipeline that could make 3D porn a reality.
Good news, the technology is coming and coming fast (no pun intended). 3D enabled televisions are set to hit the market in 2010 and surprisingly the price tag is only a little more than current HD television prices. In addition 3D computer monitors already started shipping in 2009 with a relatively inexpensive price tag. Step 1, check!
Step 2 of course is the content. This is not so far along. As you know Avatar cost $300 million dollars to produce. A lot of the cost was allocated to the digital animation, but the 3D portion was not chump change. As with any new technology it always seems as if the hardware is available but the software/content is lagging well behind. You only have to look at HD TV content to see a real life example. HD televisions have been on the market for years now, but there are still many channels and programs that still do not film in HD quality. Same will go for 3D. 3D movies will come first with content/programs lagging behind. However, if there is any industry that can pull off 3D content in a timely manner it will be the good ole porn industry. As I said earlier the possibility with 3D is endless so it will be a HUGE money maker for content producers to get 3D movies out there to the market. Let’s all cross our fingers and hope it happens soon!
Now that 3D is starting to take off you might be wondering is there 4D? The answer is a big YES. 4D has been around for some time, but it’s so expensive to pull off that you can only find it in a few places. 4D is 3D + physical effects. An example is “It’s Tough To Be A Bug” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In the 4D movie there are smell (stinky bug), water (shooting from 3D bugs mouth) and movement effects (bugs moving in the seat). The theater is designed specifically for the movie and does not change. So to make this happen at a movie theater where movies change all the time would be extremely difficult, for now.
So lets talk about the possibilities of 4D porn movies. Well, it would basically be the same as 3DD but you actually get the physical effects. When a guy blows a load water squirts on you or when a woman is being eaten out you get the aroma of a pussy….you get the point. Lets not get ahead of ourselves though, 4D is in the distant future.
As you can see and imagine the possibilities for 3D porn are endless. When 3D porn hits our monitors and televisions it will truly be a groundbreaking event. It will be the next big step in the industry and it will be awesome. Stay tuned!
