Flickr Turns Six
The popular and one of the first photo sharing sites on the web turned six this month. That’s right, Flickr turned six this month. In 2004 Flickr was a Vancouver start-up and was one of the first successful internet companies that rose after the bubble burst on the web. After only a year in existence Flickr was picked up by Yahoo. Today Flickr has millions and million of active users. In web years Yahoo is quite old, but if they continue to innovate they should be around for another six years. Happy Birthday Flickr! Keep up the great work (and keep allowing nude photos).
