Getting Back To Blogging About Stuff
I’m definitely a New Years Resolution kind of guy, but for 2011 I’m not setting any. It’s not because I can’t meet them, I want to keep 2011 wide open. Whatever comes to my mind I want to do without worrying that I’m not doing something else I committed to.
One thing I’m going to start doing is getting back to writing informational/rant/news posts. Regularly updating a blog is a tough task, anyone who does it can tell you. I slacked the last couple months of the year and simply resorted to posting nude pics from Twitter. Don’t get me wrong, I love doing them and I’m sure you love seeing them. I won’t stop posting them, but I’ll also post more substantive posts.
I use the blog service WordPress. WordPress issued a challenge to all bloggers out there, regardless of blog platform, to post a daily or weekly blog post. As I mentioned before I’m not going to commit to anything so I’m not going to sign-up for the challenge. However I do plan on posting regularly. One of the main issues with writing posts is coming up with new material. WordPress has started posting daily inspiration topics to get the juices flowing. You can find the daily blog posts HERE.
