Google Integrates Twitter On Search Results
It was only a matter of time before Google jumped on the Twitter bandwagon. You might have wondered how Twitter tweets would be indexed in google. Well, now you have your answer. As you can see from the screenshot below Google is showing related tweets on the first page of search results. This is quite an accomplishment for Twitter. Not only do Twitter profile pages rank high in Google search, but now your tweets will be shown to everyone who searches for you.
To be honest I kind of have mixed results about this. Of course when you post something on the web it’s never sacred, but now people who didn’t know about your Twitter page existed can see your tweets. So a word to the wise, be careful what you say because now Google will show your comments front and center! What are your thoughts on the new integration?
