Twitter Force Follow Bug

Twitter has a bad bug this Monday morning that is effecting all of Twitters users. There is a hack that allows you to force a user to follow you. If you type โ€œ[tweet] accept [username]โ€ then the [username] will start following you. As you can imagine it’s quite a hack and not something Twitter wants to happen.

To remedy the hack Twitter has immediately shut off the capability to follow people. As you’ll notice when you login to your Twitter account you’ll see you have ZERO followers and ZERO following. Don’t worry, you can still tweet and see tweets from the people you’re following. I would guess Twitter will have the bug fixed at somepoint today and we’ll all be able to see our followers and people we’re following. Stay tuned!
