Twitter, More Than Just Updates 4 Me!

When Twitter first launched I had no clue what it was about & was very leary about creating an account. After some convincing from Bella Bellini that Twitter was the way of the future, I signed up and have enjoyed it ever since!
When I first started using Twitter I strictly used it as a way of updating my friends & fans on what I was doing in my life. Now I use it more than I do e-mail for communicating with fans. I’ve benefited from using mentions by getting to know my fans and in turn they get to know me as well.
In the Adult Industry there is so much FREE porn out there that the only way someone will pay for a site is if he/she feels a close connection with the owner of that site. I enjoy getting to know all my followers on Twitter & even if they don’t purchase a membership to my site, I still have that close connection with fans to the point that if a follower of mine hasn’t posted anything in awhile, i’ll give them a mention to make sure they’re still alive and kickin.
I use to strictly only sign into Twitter by using the web. Now i’m using Twitter on my cell phone and keeping an application called Tweet Deck open to keep updated on my friends status by the minute. Using Tweet Deck has allowed me to keep in touch with my friends and fans on a minute by minute basis while i’m at work.
In closing, there are downfalls to Twitter! One of the major downfalls that i’ve come across are what I call “Twitter Trolls”! You know the people that are on Twitter strictly to see how many followers they can get. They will follow you until you follow them. I take care of these particular Tweeps by using Friend Or Follow. The way I look at it is, if you’re going to do that to me, I will block you! In the last week I finally got caught up on all my follows. So I’m officially following everyone who’s following me. Keep following me and you won’t be blocked LOL! The main thing is… i’m on Twitter to have fun, so if you’re into having fun on Twitter just add me @Mandy_Muffin.
